He practiced surgery for 25 years followed by administrative medical management at Highmark BCBS as medical director for 20 years. He is a retired colonel in the United States Army previously serving as Command Surgeon of the 99th ARCOM. Subsequently he obtained an MBA from Waynesburg College. He graduated with a Medical Degree and a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
